At Everleaf Independent Living, we are committed to providing a safe, stable, clean, respectful, and welcoming living environment for independent adults who are ready to move forward and create a new chapter in their lives.

Our policies are designed to promote personal responsibility, respect, safety, stability, and peaceful shared living.

Resident Eligibility

Everleaf Independent Living serves adults who are able to live independently and manage their own daily needs. Prospective residents may be required to complete an intake and eligibility process before placement.

Prospective residents should have a stable and verifiable source of income sufficient to meet their agreed-upon housing expenses and personal financial responsibilities. Acceptable income may include employment income, Social Security benefits, SSI/SSDI, retirement or pension income, veterans benefits, or other lawful sources of income.

Placement is based on eligibility, compatibility with the independent-living environment, and available space.

Respectful Living Environment

Residents are expected to treat other residents, staff, neighbors, and property with dignity and respect. Harassment, threats, violence, intimidation, or behavior that creates an unsafe living environment will not be tolerated and will or can be remove from Everleaf housing program. 

House Rules & Responsibilities

Residents are expected to follow established house rules, maintain appropriate cleanliness of their personal and shared spaces, respect the privacy and property of others, and contribute to a peaceful household environment.

Detailed house rules and resident responsibilities will be reviewed before or at move-in Each individual will receive a agreement form. Agreement form must be signed and date regarding house rules. 

Alcohol, Drugs & Illegal Activity

Illegal activity is prohibited on Everleaf Independent Living property. Additional property-specific rules regarding alcohol, smoking, visitors, and other conduct will be explained during the intake and move-in process.

Payments & Financial Responsibility

Residents are responsible for making their agreed-upon housing payments according to the terms of their written agreement. Payment amounts, due dates, deposits, fees, and other financial obligations will be disclosed before move-in.

Privacy & Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of our residents and applicants. Personal information provided to Everleaf Independent Living will be handled responsibly and used for legitimate housing and administrative purposes.

Waiting List & Availability

Joining our waiting list does not guarantee placement or immediate housing availability. When appropriate space becomes available, Everleaf Independent Living may contact individuals on the waiting list regarding the next steps in the intake process.

There is no application fee to join our waiting list.

Safety & Emergencies

Residents should call 911 for medical, fire, law-enforcement, or other immediate emergencies. Everleaf Independent Living is an independent housing provider and should not be used as a substitute for emergency or medical services.

We encourage open and respectful communication. Residents, prospective residents, and referral partners may contact Everleaf Independent Living with questions regarding our housing, policies, waiting-list process, or general procedures.
